Introducing your therapist..

Julie has always had a passion for helping people and began her journey 15 years ago when she studied counselling. After gaining a City and Guilds qualification and an RSA Certificate in Counselling skills in the development of learning, Julie went on to train as a holistic therapist and gained recognised qualifications in reflexology, Indian head massage, body massage and Reiki.

Whilst working as a holistic therapist, Julie discovered that she had an extraordinary gift. Simply by having a natural rapport with clients and utilising her counselling skills, she realised she could help people with the sound of her voice. Clients would often comment on how relaxed Julie made them feel by simply speaking to them. With a keen interest and fascination of how the mind works, Julie decided to use her existing experience and natural talents and embarked on training as a hypnotherapist.

After studying at EOS Seminar in Bournemouth, Julie gained a Diploma in Ericksonian Integrated Hypnotherapy, a NLP Practioners Certificate and a Life Coaching Certificate. Julie has been in practice for over 4 years now and has helped many people deal with and overcome a wide range of issues, from confidence/self esteem, alcohol addiction, stress and anxiety, smoking cessation, weight loss, negative habits such as nail-biting and phobias and fears. She is proud to have been able to help patients overcome their dental phobias at the Wessex Dental Specialist Centre and is pleased to be an associate at Fareham Osteopath Centre, TD Alldridge at Gudge Heath Lane, Fareham.

Attending regular peer group support meetings and workshops, Julie consistently remains up to date with her continued professional development.

Receiving positive results from many of her clients who have been ready and willing to make those positive changes, Julie has been given encouragement and confidence to continue her work as a hypnotherapist.

Julie is a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register, the Federation of Holisitic Therapists and holds full professional indemnity insurance.
